Hi,

I've made a fork of this and mostly converted to py3.
I think it was 95% done, some trouble with one of the tests and the function behind it.

Do you use it somewhere? I had problems understanding how it is really activated.
maybe with your systemd unit i'll finally understand.
if you have any docs you wrote about onedns, please could you share them?
then maybe finally it because a well-rounded tool.

I'll see if I can push the branch as a PR for you, otherwise i'll put it somewhere else and link ;-)
